Description: MCI-225, also known as AA-10021; AA-10025; AA-10026; DDP-225, is a norepinephrine reuptake/5-HT3/5-HT reuptake inhibitor potentially for the treatment of irritable. MCI-225 enhances attentional eye tracking in midpontine pretrigeminal preparation. MCI-225 could be effective in the treatment of senile dementia of the Alzheimer type, which is accompanied with both deficit in the BF-cortex cholinergic neuron and cerebral glucose hypometabolism.
