MedKoo CAT#: 130375

CAS#: 112241-19-7

Description: SMPT, a heterobifunctional crosslinker that reacts with sulfhydryl and amine, is used in the formation of immunotoxin conjugates for in vivo applications. SMPT contains an NHS ester and pyridyldisulfide similar to SPDP, but the hindered disulfide of SMPT allows for the development of more stable conjugates.
