Product Data:
Biological target: Quipazine dimaleate is a salt.
In vitro activity: To be determined
In vivo activity: Macronutrient intakes, 2h and 12h, following administration of quipazine were examined in three groups of adult male and female Wistar rats. Quipazine injection reduced carbohydrate ingestion from corn starch-containing diets in male and female rats. This study found that the nature of the macronutrient source is important to assess the effect of a drug on nutrient-specific selection.
