Description: NPD1, also known as Protectin D1, is a specialized pro-resolving lipid mediator (SPM), rapidly targeting mitochondria-mediated apoptosis, blocking BAX translocation from cytosol to mitochondria and subsequently reducing caspase-3 activation, significantly reducing Iba1 expression in the cochlea.
