Cephradine dihydrate

WARNING: This product is for research use only, not for human or veterinary use.

MedKoo CAT#: 412534

CAS#: 31828-50-9 (dihydrate)

Description: Cephradine dihydrate is the hydrate form of Cephradine (free base), a semi-synthetic cephalosporin antibiotic. Cefradin inhibits the last stage of bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to certain penicillin-binding proteins which results in cell lysis. Cell lysis is mediated by bacterial cell wall autolytic enzymes. Cefradin may interfere with autolysin inhibitors.
