Description: Ibotenic acid hydrate is a neurotoxic isoxazole (similar to Kainic acid and Muscimol) found in Amanita mushrooms. It causes motor depression, ataxia, and changes in mood, perceptions and feelings, and is a potent excitatory amino acid agonist.
