Description: AAN24649, also known as Azido-PEG4-Val-Cit-PAB-OH is a linker for Antibody-Drug-Conjugation (ADC). The Val-Cit group will specifically be cleaved by catepsin B. Because this enzyme is only present in the lysosome, the ADC payload will be released only in the cell. The Azido group will react with DBCO, BCN or other Alkyne groups through click chemistry. This product has no formal name at the moment. For the convenience of communication, a temporary code name was therefore proposed according to MedKoo Chemical Nomenclature (see web page: https://www.medkoo.com/page/naming).
