MedKoo CAT#: 581194

CAS#: 73196-97-1

Description: Dactimicin is a a novel pseudodisaccharide aminoglycoside. It activities in vitro and in vivo antibacterial compared with those of other aminoglycoside antibiotics. Dactimicin was more resistant than astromicin to inactivation by aminoglycoside 3-acetyltransferase, probably owing to the protective action of the formimidoyl group.
