Description: Jatrorrhizine is a AChE inhibitor found in Corydalis and Coptydis. It increases expression of p21 and p27 and induces cell cycle arrest in melanoma cells, suppresses amyloid-β-induced toxicity in neurons, inhibits growth of Plasmodium, Leishmania, and Trypanosoma, and increases gastric emptying rates.
