Description: Niclofolan is a biphenyl anthelmintic compound. Niclofolan is used orally towards the treatment of Fasciola hepatica infection. Niclofolan therapy achieved elimination of eggs from the feces and normalization of eosinophil counts, liver enzymes and Fasciola titers, suggesting eradication of biliary flukes.
