Description: Hydrocortisone caproate is an endogenous hormone and glucorticoid receptor agonist involved in stress signaling. It is used to treat dermatologic diseases and severe allergic reactions. It stimulates gluconeogenesis, inhibits inflammatory cytokine production, and shifts the immune response from Th1 to Th2 subtype.
