Description: CCPA, also known as 2-Chloro-N6-cyclopentyladenosine, is a centrally active, potent, and selective adenosine A1 receptor (ADORA1) agonist. In the lungs of mice and humans four adenosine receptors are expressed with different roles, having pro- and anti-inflammatory roles, determining bronchoconstriction and regulating lung inflammation and airway remodeling.
